At this point the competition changed. Previously, it was held between teams in the second and third division of the Ceredigion League. From 2004/2005 however, the competitions formerly known as the South Cards Cup and North Cards Cup were amalgamated in to this Ceredigion Cup (or to be precise, the 'Cwpan Ceredigion').
