Cardigan 3 v 2 Pencader (aet - 2-2 after 90 mins)
Bay Cup winners 09-10 - Cardigan
Ten man Cardigan overturned a two goal deficit to beat a battling Pencader side in a highly competitive Bay Cup Final at Ffostrasol.
Pencader did most of the early running and ran up a two goal lead through Daniel Jones with a stunning effort from thirty yards and a Craig Gordon penalty following which Cardigan's Simon Wilson was sent off.
Not to be outdone however the First Division Champions gradually gained their momentum and clawed back onto level terms with two goals from Kevin Morgan, the second from the penalty spot some fifteen minutes into the second half.
Both teams then had their moments but the deadlock was not decisively broken until deep into the second period of extra time when Phil Furney latched on to an incisive through ball to rifle home the winner.
